Tool Swap, is a community tool rental service app (Experimental work).
I had 1 week to design the look of the app. I chose to adopt the double diamond method. This means that I first discover and define the problem I have to solve after I continuously develop, test, and iterate until we have a final product.
I had 1 week to design the look of the app. I chose to adopt the double diamond method. This means that I first discover and define the problem I have to solve after I continuously develop, test, and iterate until we have a final product.
Using the data I collected from the research, I began synthesizing it all into design principles that I had to follow in order to create the best look and experience for the users.
I wanted to make sure that there was consistency in the rules of the layout and see if there are things that I can improve upon.
I crafted 3 different mood boards that helped me get the feel of how the interface should look.
I created a mid-fidelity prototype with interactive detail after defining a significant amount of the solution using the flow diagram and low-fidelity sketches. This prototype dramatically increased the chance to test out high-level flow, screen layouts, content, and basic interactions. This interactive prototype was made with the help of Figma.
A clean, easy to use, and app was needed that would accommodate the new branding while also being suitable for digital interfaces.
This project provided a wonderful opportunity to test one's creativity as well as gain new abilities. It was a fun task in Figma to try with the map capabilities when it came to interactivity to see if I could make the map come to life and more dynamic.
